Sharday Swanepoel (b. 1986, Durban) is a South African photographic artist living in the coastal village of Kommetjie. A stay-at-home mother of four, her work captures the tension between the magic of childhood and the raw, repetitive rhythms of domestic life. With a background in architectural studies, she brings a sensitive understanding of light and space to her intimate, emotionally charged images that reflect the unfiltered realities of motherhood.
